market cap vs shares outstanding
Market capitalization is simply the total number of shares outstanding multiplied by the current price for a single share. This company with somewhere between 15.5 and 18 million shares outstanding and a stock price of 2.35 per share would have a market cap of $36 - 42 million.
Once the recent financing closes (which it has yet to) there will be somewhere around 15.7 million additional shares if fully subscribed.
At that point there would be potentially 33 million shares outstanding.
15.7 + 18 = 33.7 million shares outstanding
multiply 33 X trading price (say 2.35) = 79.19
Market Cap would then be in the range of $80million
Essentially then the share offering in the market place currently is truely TRANSFORMATIONAL , it doubles the size of the company the day it closes which is an extaordinary feet.
Again , the upsize of the intial offering does not fall on the company but an over confident brokerage house likely letting their ego and dollar signs get involved - but as earlier mentioned that falls back on them as this is a bought deal by Canaccord and is no way a reflection on BLOC (if it does not completely sell out) but rather a reflection on Canaccords inability to fill the deal (worst case scenerio)
Cannacord is the expert in the market not the company.
This will all happen in time,
