seeking advice

Underwater on this one.  Does it make sense to average down at this point?  Would appreciate your thoughts.  Thanks.  GLTA.

Very hard to say.  Obviously this International House of Oil & Gas was setup in the first instance to get rid of all the international assets AND liabilities Lundin Petroleum owned, and in all likelihood in the 2nd instance take over Blackpearl (that part is my opinion). They're way underpaying compared to the Cenovus deal - they bought 6,000 bopd of oil and 18,000 of gas from ...more

I guess the question is , "is PXX a valued asset or a liability" to Lundin family. Like everyone he is likely disappointed inPXX performance 9like all of us) but recognizes long term value. Rolling intoIPCO likely removes some one from buying it out for a relatively low cash price and allows the assets to be retained for a better day  while still leaving open the option of selling ...more

Why are we not closer to $1.85.? Based upon a volume weighted average price (VWAP) of the IPC Shares for the last thirty days, this represents an acquisition price of CAD 1.85 per BlackPearl share

True enough.  That's why averaging down does make some sense if share price starts to inch upwards.  Appreciate the various points raised and perspectives.  Think I'll add more, as over the long haul, should be viewed as a longer term asset.  Thanks all.  GLTA.
