volume weighted average price (VWAP)

Hoping for additional comments to validate my thought process - if you look at IPC's chart from 05/06/2018 through 10/07/2018, the share price seems much higher than the previous weighted average. I can't help but think the price was artifically inflated to increase the VWAP in an attempt to further squeeze BlackPearl. If this is true, the premium isn't true and the 0.22 shares isn't true either. Am I seeing this correctly?

For Lundin Petroleum (IPCO was spun off to its shareholders), Sweden shareholders own 18%, rest of Scandinavia 10% (not sure why they make that distinction but whatever), UK 24%, rest of Europe 11%, USA 26%, rest of world 11%.  I doubt that Canadians even own 10% of IPCO whereas they own at least 60% of Blackpearl. So any undervaluation of PXX relative to IPCO as far as the share exchange ...more
