Increased OK activity is driving up costs, so it would reasonable to assume about $7mm per well. A clue of that With a 44% first year decline rate, the company may want to do a PP at these levels to keep debt levels manageable. 1800 declining 44% brings production down to about 1000, so they're on a treadmill and capital costs are high for a small company.

Assumes flat $3 gas, NGL pricing is 35% of Oil Price, $5.7 million CAPEX all other
assumptions are from the NSAI reserves estimate. Particular decline curves are from
individual well cases in the respective category located in the future development area

I was going to extract a clue of the increased OK by copy and pasting delays noted in past news releases. Anyway, were costs "on time and under budget" they would have publicized that, so they're definitely above the $5.7 baseline estimate. Costs fluctuate all the time depending on supply and demand.

Maybe you should go to management and ask for an accounting job.Since you think your knapkin calculations are more accurate.I actually went back and checked the financials on a few oilcos that I own..and wouldn't you know it ..most state "on time and under budget'. It's not up to simpleton posters to try to figure what that means..Why??...because too many details are missing.And ...more

Just discuss facts and figures. No need to insult me. If you have anything to add, do that. If not, read quietly and wait for others to add value. These boards would be much better if people sticked to facts and informed discussions. As you say, companies are proud to report "on time and under budget" or even "on budget" so it's a given BKX is going over the $5.7mm in the ...more

He will answer on his own Xmaster...but I will tell you this...he only joined Stockhouse last year..has boasted about selling at 27 cents....claimed that BKX would need more cash..(that was back a few months when oil was low) uses his own calculations which are always proved wrong BTW..he compared BKX with another company that he owned at that time MEI...which is completely idiotic...so ...I ask ...more
