Don't you have an error in the above Broker G?  

Can you provide a link to check what he market price of oil and gas was selling at around that date?

Do it make sense (or good cents) to you the company is worth $1 a share but selling for .15 cents a share?

Cougar please check BNK’s website under Presentations to see NPV calculations and footnotes. Of course it does not make sense, that was my point. It is a buyers market and most oil co.  are undervalued. But that is irrelevant. We can only get the market offers. The only decision BNK has to make is : 1) Do we sell BNK at .40 to .50 cents or 2) Do we lie dormant and drill only when cash flow ...more

I think we both can agree with the following: Treasury Regulation Section 1.611-1(d)(2) provides guidance in determining the fair market value of oil and gas properties.  It similarly provides that “the fair market value of an [oil and gas] property is the amount which would induce a willing seller to sell and a willing buyer to purchase.”   That sounds a lot to me like what you ...more
