Where did you sit at the AGM?  My wife & I were on the RHS, wearing shorts. When I asked Kochen how he was going to generate some excitement for this play, he really did not have a good answer.  Maybe a nice rich ore pocket, such as the ones I posted earlier would do the trick.  It sure would make for a great PR.

Dont hold your breath waiting for the announcement of a "jewellery box"  stope.  Those that know thye history of the Bralorne camp recognise that the best mined grades (  not  diamond drill intersections )  came from depth.  Those levels`are stiil flooded  and there is no intent on BPM's part to dewater these levels any time soon.  Given ...more

I did ask these same questions at the AGM.  Here are some of the answers I got:1. Mine is flooded below 8 level2. Mine water would need treatment for dewatering, cost of the equipment is $2M3. The waster in the mine is being used for processing and is considered to be a resource4. No more water can be removed from the creek5. Grade at depth was 1+ OPT6. Looking at the sections on the BPM ...more

Shortage of miners???  NO  Theres not !!!!!!!!!!!I've just hired an additional 12 men to start on Monday morning.  All good experienced personnel.  But you've got to pay good money to get good people.   Now if what Kocken  is really saying is that he is unwilling to pay what the market presently requires , then yes I can see that  ...more

I can't say. Sworn to secrecy now. I know too much. Sorry. Hope it was beneficial for your wife and yourself. These AGM's are more of a duty than a necessity for me to attend. I AM staying for your fireworks on Sat. though. Bralorne will do well eventually. Shame their answers did not satisfy. Next time I will wear a disguise so I can talk to you directly. Suffice it to say we would not ...more

Kocken said he pays $10K per 20 day month.  I think it is 10 or 12 hours per day.  Different between underground and mill, but I can't remember which one is longer.  Seems to work out to $500 per day plus some sort of production bonus arrangement.

I rest my case........... $500  per day  was reasonable  three or four years ago,  but  its a rather differrent economic climate in the mining industry  today,    No wonder getting men is his main problem
