this stock is almost

as wonderful a holding as the parent co. I am glad my confidence in mgmt hasn't been misplaced so far as I bought more on the dip.

I bought this recently for the almost-too-good-to-be-true yield, and exposure to the US. I checked here a couple times and it just seemed to be a dead board. Nice to see a post. I wonder what explains today's bounce. I really like the long term prospects here and collecting the great dividend in the meantime is awesome.

Hey Lloyd Very good timing on your buy and excellent reasons for buying (same as mine  :-) I bought over a year ago so am still underwater on price but haven't sweated a drop over it. It's a long term hold and I've always felt very confident. I'm a huge fan of Brookfield and also hold BEP.UN and BIP.UN. As an aside, BIP.UN really looks like a good buy right now. I wouldn't worry about dips, its still a great diversified stock. I bought it under $17, same with BIP, well positioned for everything (got it at 42.06)

I sold in $26.50 to 26.60 range as hearing UBS say they're avoiding REITS and utilities indicates to me general analyst sentiment is prevailing based on Feds pronouncements, etc., and see trend reflected in several REITS from mid-Sep. Will stay on sidelines but very interested in BPY's Nov announcements post GGP, and will be watching sp movement closely prior to these. "Fraid I don ...more
