Need some advise here

1) I have 3000 BPY bought at 14CAD$ . Am in the High networth category and its invested through my corporation. Should i convert to BAM , i avoid paying capital gains tax here

2) I have another 500 BPY in my RRSP at 16CAD$ . Should I sell or hold this ?

It all depends what you are looking for. Cash is nice, the preferred shares have a good yield, but if you are looking for capital gain then I would go with BAM.  If BAM continues its growth like it has over the last 20 years and I think they will, I will trade all my BPY.un for BAM and as you mentioned you will trigger no taxable income.
