Morgan Stanley and Pieridae Energy (The plot thickens)

Morgan Stanley in this press release is linked to Pieridae Engergy and it's Goldboro LNG Project in Eastern Canada.

Goldboro LNG is somewhat akin to LNG Canada's forgotten stepbrother.  He's only about a quarter the size of his big brother, but still BIG if a final investment decision were made for his new home.

What if Morgan Stanley's sudden interest in purchasing large lots (450,000 shares that I'm aware of so far) of Bellatrix Exploration Ltd has something to do with LNG Canada's forgotten stepbrother who aparently is VERY close to anouncing his FID in Eastern Canada.  If that is the case they may be buying a chunk of Bellatrix towards the goal of a merger with a large southern Albertan gas producer

Now my guess here is that all these pieces point to Bellatrix being the target of the merger talks.

This is my investment thesis - just putting the pieces together in my head and my reasoning for buying into BXE.  I'm  also convinced that LNG Canada will also go ahead.

My opinion only

Cheers.

I think you are in the right direction of analyses. Still, I don't know if this has something to do with BXE's takeover/merger OR LNG Canada's FID news later this year. But whatever, as long as the SP goes up here and get a chance to exit out of this investment without loss would be my personal goal here. GLTA

Also, if you google Pieridae, It seems they have financing guarantees from the German government, have long term gas sales contracts in place, have most of the pipeline infrastructure in place, have been negotiating a bulk long term trans Canada pipeline transit contract to move gas across the country.  They are assembling the pieces but have yet to anounce who will be their gas supplier ...more

The first thing I thought when I heard about PEA looking to buy an South Alberta LNG play was BXE.. but then I started getting hung up on what they mean by "Southern".. how much southern.. BXE is more central..
