5X Average Volume

Over 450,000 shares traded hands today so I'd like to think some good news might be headed our way. It's been a nasty fall and I've been averaging down in the .30s. The issues I'm having here are trying to come up with a SP if we can, in fact, get that long awaited buyout. Perhaps someone could help me out here- I'm familiar with the story and have owned shares for years now but I'm curious to here some realistic expectations on what we might be dealing with if/when we can put this finally this investment to rest. From these levels I believe a 1.00 buyout would be out of the question. Honestly, If we could get the .60s I'd be fine with that. thoughts? additionally, Bayfield is down to 1 rig which sort of sucks for getting samples to the lab but I guess they've got to do what they've got to do to save cash. No doubt will slow us down but I undertand the E. side's looking promising. RR is also down to three. Another question I have is with regards to the eastern portion of the burns. It's said to be showing similar(if not better) mineralization than was on the W. side- Could that be a game changer? And even inspite of high grade discoveries, could it be possible that the market will hardly react? The other issue I'm racking my brain over is how long RR(or someone else) will be willing to wait to finally take out bayfield- Clearly no one's in any rush here- when would it make THE MOST SENSE to buyout BYV when looking at RR's timetables? I would like to think this summer with such low shareprices, but then again, I thought this whole fiasco would have been over a long time ago. Are they going to wait for byv to size up the enitre burns before lauching any sort of buyout? Or maybe even wait for the B Block to be drilled as well? Ugh! So many possibilities it's a nightmare trying to peice it all together lol. thanks in advance.

Mcstone   If I were you I would convert your BYV shares by selling them and buying RR shares which are at a ridiculously low price. With millions of ounces of indicated Gold  and the probability of proving up millions more they are more likely to be bought out at a price  considerably higher than the SP is now. As far as BYV is concerned to even guess It's ...more

If I were to guess, I would think RR would do a share conversion buyout.  That way they don't have to give up their cash on hand and the dilution wouldn't be too bad either.     As for when; I have no idea, but with BYV's SP as low as it is, I would think RR could take it out pretty cheap atm with very little downside on it.  My hope is that it's sooner then ...more

Judging by the interviews with the CEO of byv, it really seems like a buyout is the ultimate endstate that everyone is looking for. He's pretty forward about it actually, by stating that they are purely exploratory and simply looking for someone to write them a check. I would like to see the miners start to pick up as a sector(which i think is very possible from here). If we can get a little ...more

When did RR make a bid for BYV??? BYV is exploratory drilling and no where near doing a NI 43-101. Any takeover of BYV by RR would be a good fit for RR, but I think that's down down the road. BYV still has a lot of drilling to do, especially infill drilling, and RR is watching them very closely. In the meantime, who's watching RR? Is there a major lurking around the corner??

I did a little digging regarding RR having made an offer to buy them in the past. I can't remember where I read about it and unfortunatley came up empty handed. It was probably just another rumor floating around...
