From the Casey Report on Bayfield

THE FIVE TAKEOVER TARGETS
TAKEOVER TARGET #1 :_BAYFIElD VENTURES (Y.Bvv, BYWF.PI<)
Bayfield Ventures' (www.BayfieldVentures.com) Burns Block at Rainy River in Northwestern
Ontario, Canada is surrounded on all sides by fellow explorer Rainy River
Resources' claims. Both companies have been drilling off a mineralized trend that crosses
the property line from Rainy River's ground, onto the Burns Block, and back onto Rainy
River ground. Bayfield has discovered significant gold mineralization that is clearly a
continuation of Rainy River's ODM zone to the west and another zone adjacent to Rainy
River's Intrepid zone to the east.
This is compelling enough, but Rainy River itself is being taken over by New Gold Inc., as
we go to press. If New Gold puts the multimillion-ounce Rainy River deposit into production
without the Burns Block, Bayfield's deposit would be left right in the pit wall on
one side and right beside the main access tunnel on the other. It makes no sense to leave
this gold in the ground.
And New Gold has done it before, as when it bought tiny junior SilverQuest Resources
in 2011, to consolidate its ownership ofits Blackwater project in British Columbia. New
Gold's acquisition of Rainy River will almost certainly have to close before it might make
an offer for Bayfield, but it's the most obvious takeover move in the sector today.

This was deffinitely a bonus to see. DYODD
