It's a great move, isn't it? By next year they will have 2 demonstrations sites operating at buffalo university New York and this new one (I think the NYSERDA one is commissioned next year as well, so that would be 3, if the Surrey House demo is eventually done that would be a 4th one as well). This is also great news to test the battery system in data centers which is a key sector as well

What a joke - so they are going to test the ZincAir battery backup system by plugging it into another backup battery system (UPS)???   That is hilarious.   So in order to test whether or not the ZincAir battery will even funtion at all they need another already proven battery backup (UPS) system inline with the ZincAir battery.  If the ZincAir battery works as they say

Can you pls stop talking such nonsense, first you are not familiar what term ups mean at all or how it's work, it's not universal power supply it's uninuninterruptible power system. It's not fancy battery , in data centres UPS is actually power generator in combination with batteries and voltage stabilizators and transformators. They gonna replace generator with zincair battery

Yes sfrancuz I mistyped and said universal rather than uninteruptible power supply.  Nonetheless a UPS is usually a battery back up power supply especially as it pertains to data centers.  For those who do not know what a UPS here is a relatively simple but decent explanation from wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uninterruptible_power_supply Nonetheless, if you actually read
