US investors are starting to show
their courage to be invested in marijuana stocks in the US. Expectations are promising for some kind of laws and regulations to allow some kind of greenrush in the States such that the heavy hand of the Feds won't come into play. It seems to be showing up in the MSOs who have already broken ground for legal adult States and Pharma use. Pharma use has been the best segway for potpreneurs but rec use is also gaining ground. The Acreage camp got beat down pretty harshly but seem to be getting things in order to be successful with or without Canopy, although I think Canopy needs them and I have even suggested that they are Canopy USA. The US is essential for Canopy to maintain their leadership and Acreage has glommed together essential assets for their launch when legally allowed. Acreage has financing lined up and a good big brother in Canopy to synergize each other as world leaders. The Acreage fixed shares are looking like a bargain if things come to pass as expected and Canopy shares get swapped for Acreage shares. Canopy is already steering Acreage to the vision with announcements of Canopy branded products intentioned for Acreage retailers. The legal eagles have figured it out and infused beverages are in the crosshairs. Canopy has launched those beverages in Canada with great success and I think the real success will be in the US. I see beverages as eating into a big piece of the alcohol industry because they are low cal and reduced sugar for a more discerning consumer. Our godfather company Constellation Brands is proactive to be a part of this change with their purchase of Canopy shares and Acreage is who they chose for US expansion. We could be close to a launch of a great American greenrush and impatient US investors are starting to plunk down cash with potpreneurs, especially MSOs.
