Algernon should also be meeting with the Canadian Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB) - the equivalent to the US FDA - regarding Emergency Use of Ifenprodil... it is proven to be safe. See article in the Globe and Mail regarding the severe shortage of therapeutics to treat hospitalized COVID cases due to this  variant and more deadly 3rd wave:
