There are currently very few treatment options for stroke survivors other than blood thinners or surgical intervention.

Given the neuro-generative effects of DMT, it could have brain-healing applications.

Algernon Pharmaceuticals (AGN.c AGNPF) is currently investigating if DMT can help post-stroke patients at a sub-psychedelic dose in an ongoing phase 1 clinical study.
