Mega Deal TBA with Poda (Blackout period at this moment)

I am of the opinion that Poda will be announcing a MEGA Tobacco deal with a MAJOR COMPANY (most probably Philipp Morris).

For those who follow Ryan, you know that he is extremely expressive, open, transparent and out there for the shareholders, doing youtubes and conference calls.   He answered all emails, phone calls, etc...

Since December 2021, Ryan has been tight lipped and very quiet, which is contrary to his nature.   Eson has also been very quiet.

If you remember in prior conversations, Ryan said that Demand was not an issue, it was supply that was a concern.  He said that he could easily sell millions of pods per month for many months but then would face supply constraints.  He did not want to flood the markets and then hit supply issues.  He preferred going about it more slowly for the long term.

Therefore is DEMAND is not the issue, why would he be very quiet????

For me it has to do with negotiating a MEGA deal with BIG TOBACCO and, signing of confidential non disclosure clauses.   It is possible that ESON is also part of this deal.

Lets see if I am right.

silence from Ryan can be either positive or negative.  One postiive is what you highighted and I truly hope you are right and that is the case.  That being said;  PODA competitive advantage over its competiton was the closed end stick to avoid having to clean the device.  PM has eliminated this advantage.  They can still market that they have patents on the only closed end

Thank-you for your nice response, I respect your opinion. I see the silence of Ryan as positive because he is not the type of person to shy away and hide from bad news. He has also shown some backbone in holding up against big Tobacco that wanted to rush Poda pods into the market too quickly.   Any reckless CEO would have rushed the product but Ryan was thinking of the long term.

Thanks Deep, those are all valid points.  Keep posting as well because even though we may not agree on every single point I do think there's a lot more we agree on as opposed to what we don't.  These boards, when used by posters properly, are meant to have positive discussions even when there is disagreement. How many times over the last  4-5 month has it been said that there is no way that BIG Tobacco would sit idle and watch junior take over the world....there was more than one reason that they launched in Asia, unfortunately the very early hype and run left a lot of people holding the bag after the point was made with the simple minipulation of this stock.
