hmm!
not sure of the signifigance of this nr but it does show that someone is still promoting this.
By my calculation, BLO is closer than anybody else than I am aware of to coming up with what I consider as, a necessity for the future.
Not just me but a lot of noise by the law and policy people that not having a working breathalyzer is the fly in the ointment to legalization of marijuana at the Federal level.
Interestingly, the nr that I saw suggests a BAC breathalyzer by Cannabix which leads back to the old tender requirement by government in Canada that they spec'd out that the tender was for thc and alcohol from the same device.
Technology will yield a device for somebody, maybe the holy grail of being able to detect all drugs and alcohol or other impairments to driving.
I believe that Cannabix is closer to the holy grail because of the Mass Spectrometry that they have down to a table size device. Technology will eventually get it in the hands of police in a cruiser, dummied down enough for an officer to run.
Right now it takes a scientist and the breath capturing device is to get it to a lab where they will utilize the ms tech.
All of the different variables of cannabinoids that are appearing have got to create problems and have to leave non-active cannabinoid detection out of the equation.
Sticky wicket for sure!

The contactless breathalyzer is the real winner. Employers can have one installed at every factory entrance.
