latest nr for patent
looks like they are moving forward on dummying this device down to be usable by police and safety managers.
The timeframe given in the nr suggests less than 10 minutes start to finish to get a breath sample processed which means to me that it would work well for checking employees at the work place and if they are thinking roadside use would need the lab or police station close by to get that fast turnaround result.
Police are looking for familiarity to the BAC pistol style and I am sure that Cannabix is moving towards that but I could see a roadside sample being droned over to the lab or police station for a quick decision to get a stoned driver off the road for the safety of all.
The need for this device is real and there aren't a lot of contenders trying to do this. I would suggest that more have given up than are still working on it.
The first company to come up with a true THC breathalyzer will very likely get the support of the investment community and that will show in the shareprice. There were a ton of contenders for the Blood Alcohol Tester and I remember $40 ish shareprice for one of them and there were dozens.
