Tony Marquis figurehead or not?
Hi folks. just thought I would chime in after being away for a while. I sent a message to Tony on LinkedIn a few days ago welcoming him to KWG, noting that his background and expertise would be a welcome addition to our management team. I think he is perfectly suited to handle all aspects of this most pivotal component in the ROF equation... the RR... which is most likely the single most important factor in the creation of profitability for any of the Chromite assets, bar none.. The following was Tony's response.
Thanks Paul. I am truly looking forward to this new opportunity as it is something i believe in. It will benefit the north, the province, the country, and more importantly, the First Nations. My railroad background will help for sure as it has tentacled into so many important connections ranging from politicians at all levels, regulators in both Canada and the US, financiers, investors, advisors, and many positive experiences with First Nations. So buckle up - it is going to be a fun journey

I must say Tony's background is impressive. He ran a railroad (Fenoco) in Colombia South America for Glencore. According to his on-line info when he came back to Canada (see the CP press release) he completed a corporate turnaround for the shareholders. As an added bonus, he has a solid reputation with Glencore. Finally, the right guy in the right place at the right time!!!

Curious if KWG/CCC are planning a Meet and Greet with Investors, and a separate Meet and Greet with effected First Nations in the surrounding communities may help garner confidence and trust regarding KWG/CCC and infrastructure plans. Being we are still in the grasp of COVID-19 a Zoom type meet and greet would probably suffice.

Ring of Fire ore-haul railway a remote possibility at this point; not until other regional mining players emerge that would generate the volume of freight to justify a multi-billion-dollar transportation project.

Again your stupidity That regional miner will be KWG. They aren't looking for govt handouts like you know who. An offtake agreement will take care of that issue
