Things are moving to fast for the tree huggers and the natives who want a piece of the pie.
Sounds like there isn't much they can do about it. The proponents are First Nations and the minerals are in their territories. Wabasse just signed an exploration MOU

"Canada’s federal Impact Assessment Act does not explicitly allow Wilkinson to declare a "moratorium" on assessments, and it offers a relatively narrow range of options for assessments to be ended. Essentially, either the proponent has to tell the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada or the minister in writing that the project won’t be carried out or otherwise fail to provide information within certain time limits."

Im all for moving forward with an ethical and environmentally sound plan, but the ring of fire is ACTUALLY needed to move to cleaner energy. Without the ring of fire, Canada and the US will not be able to meet demand for a greener economy. Im going to to go on a limb and say this is all going to be sorted out by the fall. To those that think thats a pretty ambitious timeline: take a more macro ...more

I am going to disagree somewhat. I believe with Marquis timely arrival that something willl happen much sooner. Such as buying a strategic rail.
