What a shyte show. The neskantaga community is 100km east of the road at the point of the esker with little to no environmental impact. The government is working alongside the natives to ensure that all of this is done with the earths well being at the forefront. I can say with a clear conscience that this is NOT being steamrolled with environmental short cuts or a bullying attitude towards First Nations peoples. Grab a seat at the table and ask how this project will benefit ur people. Your children and grandchildren. They just want to be handed more money plain and simple. I have no objection at all to the First Nations benefiting from the government and mining companies that will be making billions of dollars extracting from their land, if an oil company started drilling in my back yard or mining gold I would want a cut to!
