It always takes longer.  Now they say easement should be issued Q1 but it has taken longer than the company thought every time.  If you go back to the video presentations, they thought the easement would be issued 3 years ago.

Kudos to the company for having Santander to execute while they wait and wait and wait.  Let's hope they can make Santander profitable.

it's still a HUGELY positive move all things considered - been a long time investor as well and with that much zinc-silver on surface in tailings I would be surprised if this doesn't jump back to 0.15 - 0.20 if applcation is fully issued in 2024 (should be) obviously the discount to the market is due to this uncertainty but I have faith in management esp since they own so much with ...more

The string of posts on Twitter from PDAC is promising! Hopefully it translates to some better price action tomorrow on the market

Within the framework of @the_PDAC, Minister Romulo Mucho met with Guy Goulet and Steven Zadka, CEO and Executive Chairman respectively of Cerro de Pasco Resources INC (@CerroInc), who showed their interest in the recovery of the mining resources in the #Pasco region. Both indicated that the Canadian company is committed to investing in #Peru, in a project that will mark a milestone in the ...more

Seems like a good sign that the President's signature should be following soon

A little more interest and slight tick up in the price as the Easement is now imminent. Great in demand resource, easy mining, good environmental story and some good management on board but the most frustrating stock anyone could own. Whether it's covid, Volcan, Glencore, delays with the Peruvian government, the low zinc price that has afffected Santander or the extra dilution necessary to ...more

Isn't patience one of the 7 heavenly virtues?  We're always short of one signature or else! Hope it's worth the wait and that the wait is getting near the end!

Was expecting some news this week but again nothing, so  what else is new?
Comment by stockbullied on Apr 22, 2024 6:59pm
There was a twitter post today about them having a meeting with the ministry of mining. No specific mention of a signature...

The Easement runs to over 1,500 pages. Add in lawyers, politicians and bureaucrats and it partly helps to explain why it is taking so long. But the delay has been simply too long and unacceptable. Then we will have official confirmation of what the ...more
