Entering the Cannabis Beverage Space

Afzal mentioned less than a month ago that the cannabis beverage space is on his team’s radar more than any other segment within the industry.

Does anybody have any thoughts or insights on when they will make an announcement entering this space and who the target company will be?

Other than Dixie Elixirs, the only other well-branded companies are Tinley, Rebel Coast, High Style Brewing, Sprig, California Dreamin’, Legal, and Cannabis Quencher (I could be missing one or two).

I would absolutely love if they invested a chunk of money into Tinley. In my opinion, this would be Origin House’s best play, providing them with the most upside in the space.

To me, Cannabis smoking is gonna decrease in popularity although there will be a lot of revenue growth from it as it has just been made legal. The bad side effects of smoking are well known by the population and it is not well seen by peers as much as it was before. Also if I were to guess as to whom may be attempting a hostile bid I would say Aurora and GW Pharma are the two that come to mind first....especially if your worried about paper bids (all stock deals).
