I Forsee a Bidding War Coming
So many US MSO's would be crazy not to attempt a hostile takeover of OH.
Curaleaf - they only have permits in California right now
Acreage - just one 10k square foot cultivation facility in CA
GTI - they have nothing in California
iAnthus - pretty much nothing in CA
Plus when you consider the brands and Canada exposure (with international distribution possibilities) that OH provides, many more MSO's will be interested.

Isn't there a possibility that the bidding war has already happened? We know they were in discussion with the "usual suspects" when the stock price took a big dip. I'm guessing Cresco was the most impressive to Lustig and offered an appropriate price.

There is a penalty fee of 45 m if the deal is broken, so anyone has to pay that on top of the takeover bid.

I think Origin has spoken to every major US player , this was the best fit and the best deal. They believe it gives them a huge opportunity to get into a company that has scale over 11 states. The opportunity is for cresco to double triple from here. The big market is the US ...it dwarfs Canada. That is the opportunity for long term holders if you hold the same vision. Long and strong
