So the Colombian answer to our reply submission from July 8, 2022 arrived earlier at the tribunal than thought by me. Something interesting. Has the Colombian delay attitude in the arbitration changed in general with the new Colombian president in power ?

So they had time till early October, and gave response in early July? Full three months earlier? That does seem to signify some sort of shift.

Actually I take it back. Per the procedural order 13, the time given for second round of submissions was reduced from 90 days to 45 days. So August 22 was the maximum Columbia could have stretched giving their submission in second round.  After the final submission (August 22), either party had 14 days to request an oral hearing, and another 14 days to oppose it.   Unknonws are (a ...more

Its so frustrating...   We wait years for the tribunal decision, then when it comes, we wait without a hard schedule and seemingly endless submission and hearings.    This should be like a fine.   You owe $10.  Pay within 30 days or it goes to $15.  After that, you go to jail.

Equally or more frustrating is the radio silence from our management team. Literally nothing.

Surely everyone realizes the board is barred from releasing any information on the details of the arbitration, any public information has to come from the World Bank. Likewise, there is zero information from the Colombians.

As Gold and Silver are on the cusp of a major move, now would be a great time for Minesa to make a move on EOM.  But then, Gold & Silver have been on launch pad for years :-)

It has been full three months since the last submission, and yet no news of either oral hearing being requested / scheduled or confirmation of proceedings being closed (they have four months since the close of proceedings to render decision).

Does that mean you are hopeful that we will hear a decision within the next month/before year end?  Probably too hopeful! It would be great to resolve this one (one way or another).
