Aris presentation at the Gold Forum Sept. 14th

Great to see something moving with todays press release from Eco Oro.

I guess that in some way Aris is involved, if any solution comes. May be they agreed to a deal with the Colombian goverment, that they will give them recovery for money to be paid by an ICSID idecision in exchange for later access to our old Greystar / EOM areas.

Here is a link to the interesting Aris presentation at the recent Gold Forum including some remarks about potential aquisitions. Do not forget the super big & wealthy Partner of Aris, which is Mubadalla.

It is about 20 minutes long from Sept. 14th. The Aris CEO spoke about the Soto Norte project as the worlds greatest gold mine...

ups, have to correct myself: he spoke about "one of the worlds leading gold mines" - not about the world greatest gold mine. But anyway, Aris  & Mubadalla will never be able to work in peace, if in their direct neighborhod is a lawless gold bearing big hill, which is governed by illegals and criminals. They must integrate Angustora and also our old satellite areas to become a ...more

Thanks for sharing, watched the video and here are my takeaways: 1. They have extensive experience working with artisinal / illegal miners and have a well developed program and process in place for hybrind mining - their large scale + small miners. This can be leveraged for other properties (EOM's?) going forward.  2. Due to above, and other social inititiaves, they have a 'social ...more

Should EOM be acquired (let's assume for fun), what would that look like with respect to the CVRs and the shareprice?   Specifically, how would the distribution waterfall unfold in an acquision vs a ICSID settlement? Presumably, holders of the CVRs would want a settelment as they get 95%.   Would that also apply to a purchase price?

My guess is the CVRs would be converted to shares.which would bring outstanding shares to a bit over 1 million shares. There would be no payout on the arbitration award and market forces would take over. Logically Minesa will buy us out. The door is closing on that option. We all know that Colombia will find it dificaly to provide the gaurantees to Minesa and EOM to pull that off. There also has ...more

You mean more than a billion shares?
Comment by oldtimer42 on Sep 28, 2023 4:36pm
Thanks Natural, this not the first time you have cleaned up my posts! Indeed I should have said over 1 billion shares. If no cash changes hands, a share conversion makes sense.

I found these points very interesting from the Aris presentation: 1. About 85 % of Colombian gold production is mined by "illegals". (Either by criminal gangs or by simple minded miners, who simply do not know how to get a  legal licence for what they are doing). 2. Gold recovery rates of these miners is only 40 - 45 %. While recovery rate - if their material is milled ...more
