Thanks Sailor8 for sharing the updated news on "Aris Mining completes acquistion..."
I'm drawn to this paragraph, " The Soto Norte region in Colombia is a significant mining district, hosting numerous small-scale mining operations. Aris Mining’s partnership model, successfully implemented at its Segovia Operations, increases gold production while benefiting contract mining partners, the GOVERMENT, and the environment. If this means the Colombian government, then I can guess the level of corruption involved with this arrangement. There have been concerns about the environmental effects with mining near the Paramo but it has also given certain people in Government and Environmental officials opportunities to fill their pockets. To think that the money earned from the gold mined in the  Soto Norte region in Colombia will eventually end up with the Colombian people is naive. No one knows this better than EOM shareholders. ICSID favourable ruling has compelled the Colombian government to negotiate a deal with EOM and I'm guessing  Aris is part of it. Had that ruling been unfavourable shareholders would have been screwed. I've always maintained that EOM's plentiful gold in the ground will be dug up, eventually, it's just a question of who and when. The huge increase in gold price has expedited the greedy to act sooner than later. My previous post said co.news leaks before official news, always. Watch EOM share price and volume but don't expect a straight line projection. That's my personal take.
