Thanks BC and Aware

Thank you both for informative posts. BC I too bought a few more with March dividends ...and ""enthusiastic"...but more enthusiastic in the short term for my IP in which I have loaded up.

Your information moves me from enthusiastic to bullish.....

BC does Aware's article ease your mind about Strathmore?

Hey Barstoolsage, It's impossible to say if/when the Strathmore facility will be permitted. On one hand, the problem of manure waste at feedlots is a real one and one would think that should convince regulators to view ERTH's solution favorably. But one can never underestimate the power of a local resistance group. In their minds, when the facility was running back in 2010, it made life ...more

Managed to pick up some more yesterday ....the story keeps getting better as news comes out

I agree. I've picked up more shares over the last few weeks, too. I'm sitting tight now until I see them close the acquisition, and at what terms.

Well I agree the story is ahead of reality BC... with the agreement yet unclosed and the Strathmore facility still awaiting its permit for expanded operations..... as of Keith's March 2021 letter to us But I'm thinking if it's still at this level eom I might add some more here. I'm in for 6k shares so far and could push to 10k I think before wanting lots more certainty to put more ...more

That all sounds very reasonable. I'm in for 15k shares myself, and if the acquisition passes muster on terms and conditions I'd consider doubling that amount. I'm less worried about it going ahead (although stranger things have happened) than I am about it happening on very dilutive terms. I recently bought into a company just before it signed a horribly dilutive deal that convinced me ...more

Have not bought yet but a very savvy trader told me to have a look.

April dividend showers let me add 2500 more ERTH, some more IP, and I added 5 ALQ in a TFSA. Not a bad day's allocation.

I love those dividend showers. Like me, it sounds like you might have some TD and BNS. :)
Comment by BarstoolSage on May 01, 2021 2:22pm
No they came from ALQ, CPX and CHE...three core yield holdings in which I have managed to accumulate meaningful amounts over the last number of years. CHE pays monthly ---currently 5 cents down from 10 pre covid. ALQ and CPX both pay quarterly No banks anymore. Did have BMO, which I did well on, then turned that into BIP wich I rode from about $27 to a post 3 for 2 split price of about $68 ...more

Ha! I guess it's developing that cow dung into a marketable product without the nasty toxins that takes some moola. Once they get going, it'll be a great deal with free inputs. :) As for dividends, doesn't matter where they come from as long as they keep paying. I had the sense to buy TD and BNS near their lows in March last year, but even now their P/E ratios are reasonable from a ...more
