There is no safety net, for the shareprice, when the company keeps secrets, and other than a May news release to the investment community about some gold produced in Q1, they remain silent. After 35 million and 5 years and everchanging decisions, going from buildng out ewaste plants, to literally closing the ewaste plant in B.C. ( maybe?) to deciding to go to a royalty model ( which perhaps

The new CEO can't just make up news so you will have to wait. Not  sure how any shareholders who don't work there have any useful criticism for management - complaining that you lost money after the business fell apart, (purportedly due to external market forces changing the pricing of raw materials )  is not useful.
