I went to GEMS.c virtual conference today, here are the highlights:
(1) - GEMS has submitted applications for listing on the OTCQB and the ASX.
- Assays in the lab from their various projects, and teams on the ground preparing for drilling. Awaiting permits for drill programs in the fall
(2) - Quebec and Ontario are leading jurisdictions for battery metals both placing in the top 15 best jurisdictions. Multiple neighbouring mines have also had major success, most notably is PMET’s in Ontario, recently seeing the jump from $.20 to $5.
(3) - The thesis of their approach is to de risk the opportunity, $GEMS.c is actively working 5 different projects as we speak. Giving them freedom to choose which projects are more valuable verses those which would be worth selling.
(4) - The Rockstone Graphite Project is GEMS personal favourite at the moment. The graphite structures at Rockstone are battery-grade, compared to flake graphite, that requires much more energy to become battery-grade.
(5) - Additionally it requires much less energy to transport Graphite from the Rockstone property to a potential processing or shipping facility due to its ideal location. Drilling at rock stone will take place in September, currently awaiting permits
(6) - Trenching is currently taking place at the Zen-Whoberi project in preparation for drilling in the fall, nickel and cobalt are highly valuable battery metals, currently in the stripping phase.
(7) - 55 samples are currently in the lab from Buda Pegmatite Property, can be expecting those soon. Active exploration is currently taking place at Buda their team is on the ground exploring 30 pegmatite dykes.
(8) - At Galaxy Upon the discovery of Lithium-Spodumene, a near by lab offered to work with GEMS to process the lithium-spodumene.
The lab plans to figure out how to correctly separate the lithium and then share the process with GEMS at no cost.
(9) - GEMS has three future projects lined up for exploration, Camaro Lithium Project, Pak south & Southeast Lithium Project, and the Thor Manganite project.
Thor being the most notable of the three, its in a bit more advanced stage
(10) - The Thor Manganite property has 10 drill holes, an underground bulk sample, high amounts of manganite previously confirmed to be the right present, making this the right type of manganese for EV’s, an ideal addition for GEMS.
(11) Lots was covered in 30 minutes but you can catch the recap here for the full conference.
