GLOBAL HEMP GROUP UPDATE
Global Hemp Group Inc. has provided an update on its joint venture hemp project in Scio, Ore.

Impact of Oregon wildfires on the Scio, Ore., hemp project: While the farm is not currently in danger of fire damage, the resulting air quality, smoke and ash from the wildfires in the region have damaged the CBG (cannabigerol) hemp crop that is currently being grown in the greenhouses and in the field. It has been determined that the plants will need to be replanted after the danger of fire has passed to have a marketable crop this year.

I do hope this is covered by their insurance. If yes, this might not be even too bad since they would not even have to find a buyer for their harvest and still have some sort of revenue (insurance payout). Plus they still have last year's crop to sell, so even if this year's is a total loss, they are not completely f#cked. Regardless of that, I hope this does not interfere with their ...more
