CEO.ca Blog Discussion About GLM - Supporter or Distractor
Long but informative blog discussion about GLM and the Bonanza:
@X-flyswatter A few quick comments before I head out...a few people were discussing the ending of the 4 month hold period for the pp yesterday. With Eric probably taking up a majority of the placement, his holdings for all intents and purposes will not be “active” as he tends to hold his companies for the long term, so any activity (selling) at the end of that period may have minimal effect. Speaking of Eric, he’s not some septuagenerian, sitting in a rocking chair, throwing darts at stock charts. He and his team due extensive dd before acquiring any companies. Have a good day. 6
@zukuenftiger @moonshot5 Thanks for the link. Very few here listened to the conversation with John Kaiser until the end ... 2
@OleTradezy @X-flyswatter Disagree there listen some of those past sprottmoney episodes. He was throwing money at every silver and gold stock with decent results when pms were hot. Obviously he does DD but he likes to gamble just like any gold bug and has the money to do so. 4
@X-flyswatter Well, there’s close to 1700 miners/explorecos on the three Canadian exchanges, and a large majority of those wouldn’t mind the association (and $) that he can bring to a stock. Personally, I respect what he’s done for the industry, but also as a resource investor, it’s consoling to know that someone is taking a stake to simply not sell the moment the shares become free trading...or worse, short the stock with the warrants in their back pocket, then line up at the trough for the next financing. This and so many other explorecos get beat/held down often by those who presumedly are supporting the company with a financing. 2
@zukuenftiger I just discovered something very interesting. I sent you a link above in which @EvenPrime is also watching Mr. Mike England critically. In the forums of exactly these listed companies $AIX $BTU $CKR $ILI $SSS $SKYG a certain anonymous @mike is very active. Weird, is not it? 5
@Flyingjay This stock will be bigger then gbr when Mike is done with it! 1
@zukuenftiger Exactly these companies in which MIKE England works as CEO or Director ... these companies "Mike" pumps here regularly. What a coincidence 1
@StockOphobic Check @mike profile, he is involved with many companies even SONA, VXL ect. Can't be Mr Mike England 1
@Playa_2012 Osama Bin Laden could be the CEO it doesn't matter - they hit bonanza grade and strike in NEVADA. That's RARE. 5
@ump @zukuenftiger now he is pissed that he was here prior to the results and didn't see the potential here. Just sad really. Could have had a 10 bagger if you just looked past the previous bullshit that you went through. We get it, you don't like Mike England. But we like this stock. 5
@StockOphobic I don't think he is too late to party, GLM has lots of room to run, still under proper valuation. I would say we should be at least 80-90m MC, with new drill coming and well cash now, we shouldn't have any further issues. GLTA 1
@X-flyswatter Rather than get involved with conspiracy theories, I’m going to focus on the results. Mr. Kaiser mentioned grade smearing, a term I don’t particularly like. Essentially, it’s a “weighted average” and most, if not all, companies present values in similar fashion. So you might see an intersection reported as 10 m of 10 g/t gold (incl. 1m of 100 g/t gold). In this case the 100 g has been averaged/divided over 10 m, so it’d be clear that there’s nothing outside that 1 m interval. If you now look at GLM’s results, their “headline intersection” was 24.5 m of 9 g/t gold, including the 3.2 m of 57 g/t gold. To their credit, they presented the results in two different tables (see attached pi + 137 more words. Click to expand 10
@X-flyswatter One last comment regarding Mr. Kaiser’s manic rant, with all due respect. In a 2015 Northern Miner article, during a period when the entire sector was hurting, Mr. Kaiser stated that what the sector needed for a boost was retail investors to return. Yesterday, he referred to us as “stupid speculators”. For someone who benefits from retail investors subscribing to his services, it was an interesting comment. Putting any money into any explorecos is speculating...they are companies that have no earnings or revenue, and search for treasures. As speculators, you want to limit the risk of your investments while providing the best chance for significant returns. To do so, you try to find un + 32 more words. Click to expand 8
@buck85 360 drill holes. Bonanza Discovery. One of the two is true. Time will tell. With no map for the drilling and nothing on the website to show what is up with the location. Not sure what else to say about it. Usually guys wanna show where they drilled when they make a significant discovery! My 2c. 0
@buck85 Look I know lotta y’all ain’t geologists. When you drill in the middle of an area where the ground is riddled with hundreds of historical holes. That is absolutely not a “bonanza discovery” that’s twinning a hole. Threading the needle into some high grade pocket. 0
@zukuenftiger I am not pissed off. I prefer to invest in serious, honest miners who do a good job. I don't like guys like England who do their thing in their own pocket and never even begin to develop a project. These guys cast the entire explorer market in a bad light. 4
@Baldeeezy I think somebody is sad they didn't get in on the run . Be it as it is, this thing about to moon get on the rocket or don't. Spam bashing from your computer isn't changing anything @zukuenftiger 1
@Yixter Would Sprott and company put money in at a 200% premium to the recent low if it was just a twinned hole lol?? 1
@alexinvestor Too bad the drill got lost at 70m. There's likely lots of goodies deeper, and now they will have the money to drill. From an article on the website: "On the Eureka-Croesus properties, mineralization typically occurs along fault fractures where Dunderberg Shale (Cd) comes in contact with Hamburg Dolomite (Ch). The replacement deposits occur in vertically oriented pipes and chutes. Replacement deposits in limestone on the Eureka-Croesus properties were oriented vertically into pipes along fault fractures. Major Catlin contented richer ore could be found by following these ore bodies to greater depth." This story reminds me of BRC, they did not stop mining because of lack of ore but becau + 17 more words. Click to expand 2
@buck85 I’d love to see a map of the 2020 drilling and all the historic DDH collars / intercepts plotted, until then I’ll hold onto my skepticism. Cuz something ain’t adding up. Good luck. 1
@Oops Here is the elusive drill collar map for Jewel Ridge. This is prior to any work $GLM has completed. The orange circle (Scale is approx 400m diameter) on the map indicates the NE Eureka target. https://cdn-ceo-ca.s3.amazonaws.com/1g3h9tc-glm.PNG+ You can see that there has been plenty of drilling on this property which both Kaiser & the company admit. The collar map does show the limited drilling in the company declared discovery area. When read in conjunction with $GLM Feb 1 NR, you can piece a few more things together. @accesswire/golden-lake-reports-303-gt-silver-and-112-gt-gold In this NR, it is stated that some grab samples were nearby historic drill collars that they have no data. @zukuenftiger Guys, I don't care who you entrust your money to, but it's still allowed to question without being stoned in public, right? In addition, I try to argue with facts and not insult them personally. Good luck 5
@DJS Kaiser also hated Kodiak at 0.30 and various other companies I can't recall that did quite well. It seems to me that, fairly often, he has certain companies on a black list for reasons that are more personal to him than they are objectively demonstrable. 4
@Mimibegalo Kaiser is salty for missing the boat on both the pp and the post new run. 6
@X-flyswatter @Thankyouimsorry. yes both can be true. How many times have we heard of companies acquiring ground that has been drilled previously over the years, but they test a new area, apply different models/theories, drill to depths previously not tested, use geophysical or geochemical surveys previously not used, etc. There's many well known, high fliers currently that have done that. The fact is there's little "virgin ground". Almost any lands that are in a prospective geological environment over the years have seen exploration work. And @buck85, you're right...all we can do is see how this unfolds whether you're an investor or on the outside looking in. But they will have a topped up treas + 30 more words. Click to expand 5
@BT same setup as yesterday here 1
@Pavel Chow Marcel aka Zukuen, now on ignore! GL with your junk stocks 2
@Mimibegalo 20M market cap, coffers filled, great prospect and great results in the best mining jurisdiction in the world. Vote of confidence from 2 majors. Some should stop whining and ranting and slap that ask and relax imo 4
@rocman I dont think we will see sub .60 a long time! 3
@BT reinforced bottom now... 2
@Oops The state of Nevada has been swiss cheesed since 1800s and they continue to find more. Look at the map ^^. And look at $GLM Feb 1 NR to see where the drill locations were. 4
@X-flyswatter Great digging @Oops! They were drilling northeast Eureka so they're definitely in a sparse area of drill holes. I think what is also overlooked is the ground they're drilling hasn't seen any activity since the 80s do to land tenure issues which were cleared, and GLM incorporated that ground to their Jewel Ridge claim block. 4
@BT .65 was high of yesterday... breaks through that lets see .70+ 6
@goldree based on the very low market cap and excellent grades, this could run like v.FVL did. Mr. Sprott got in on that one as well. 4
@Mimibegalo Volume is telling imo. Only sellers now are weak hands from retail 5
@X-flyswatter Well, it’s also another nasty day in all the markets. As for GLM level II shows currently there’s strong support with little resistance. We’ll see how she goes! 4
@Pavel The DOW is bouncing of low of the day... If it recover, rest of the market will follow. 1
@buck85 Cannacord with the market dump. If this breaks below 50 all the rest of those bids are old and cold. Definitely a shitty day in the markets, gold is going off a cliff. 0
@Baldeeezy I think Biden bombing Syria this morning might have a ripple effect in the markets here 3
@Westeast Always nice with a undervalued gold/copper play with stunning results when markets are shaky 1
@Baldeeezy Might be a rough finish all around today with 'murica back on the world stage apparently 3
@Mimibegalo Market has short memory, we will be back on track probably PM or Monday in the broad market. Stimulus Money will be back pumping 5
@razzledazzle red everywhere...not a single green on my watchlist 4
@Westeast A sneeze and we’re $0.60+. See you later 9
@CWolfe Market is turning green! well at least the Nasdaq and spy 4
@rocman Always someone to bring it back down... 3
@Loretta @DJS he's a nebbish with lousy judgment, but I thought most of what he said struck home. 1
@Mimibegalo Turning, let's see how many will chase it up before the close 6
@StockOphobic Thanks XFLY, I been trying to look for it but I think it happen just recently. 5
@GooDonYa Anyone with an update or a more current sense of pp closing date ? 4
@blammo 12 minutes to power hour. Time for the shorts to cover and the FOMO to begin! 10
@Tminus1blkSwan Really like what I see with that recent strike, picked up 25k units as an initial position. BUY:GLM 13
@blammo So Twila sold 200K of options @ $0.10, and then bought 45K shares @$0.54. Glad she bought back in! 9
@Oops What I see there is possibly a 200k short at .53c yesterday and then using the funds to exercise the 200k .10c options to cover and then buying in the market today with the profit at the level that they shorted at. 5
@oldvsetrader she exercised and sold 200,000 shs Most likely the purchase is for something different like a tfsa or rrsp 2
@X-flyswatter Ya, I never bemoan insiders selling. The options are part of their compensation. She could’ve exercised them when we were stuck in the 0.12-0.15 range which would’ve hurt shareholders no doubt. The fact that she then bought back some shares on the open market when she could’ve redeployed that cash anywhere, well is a positive. Have a good weekend. 8
@blammo Agreed @Playa_2012. Judging how quickly it ran up this week, and with Eric Sprott and his rich friends behind us, I think we’ll see a $1+ this week once the PP closes (which should be Monday or Tuesday at the latest)... 4
@Newton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkKYi7DrQo0+ #JohnKaiser on $NGE $NUG. Mentions $GLM... John, why do you say it's showtime for Nevada Exploration? The two key companies in Nevada that are both favorite recommendations of mine are Nevada Exploration Inc with its South Grass Valley project and NuLegacy Goldcorp with its rift anticline project. NuLegacy just put out the results for the hole three and four that they drilled in November-December of last year. Hole four actually got gold intersections that were pretty decent. What was interesting about this is that the intersections are within the Roberts Mountain formation, which showed up shallower than they expected. It was beneath the target horizon in that region. The whole Cortez trend area that has Gold Rush, Cortez Hills, and Pipeline the "Windband 5" is the carbonate sponge that has soaked up most of the gold that has been identified in this region. This was a bit of a head scratcher and they think that they're peripheral to the actual channel where the gold fluids came in but they have $16 million dollars in the treasury and in mid-march they will bring an RC rig on there to put down casing through the volcanics. Then they'll bring in a core rig, one every month, until they have three core rigs going to drill 1200 to 1500 meter deep holes into the the lower plate stratigraphy that sits underneath this cover of volcanics and basalt that are much younger that are unmineralized and that have basically hidden this particular area, which has a footprint equivalent to that of the Gold Rush zone about 12 kilometers to the northwest. It's never been explored. All the attention was in the to the east of it where they now see that the gold mineralization is a blend of younger epithermal style mineralization that came in during that northern Nevada rift period 15 million years ago, but some of the high-grade intervals that they got at Serena-Western Slope and Iceberg have been diagnosed Carlin Style mineralization. 30-35 million years ago, Carlin type fluids did come into this area but the Windband 5 formation, which is the preferred depositional formation for the Carlin type mineralization is quite thin in that area. Underneath in the rift anticline areas where they've seen sort of three anticlinal type axes within that area blanketed by the younger volcanics, the Windband 5 formation is substantially thicker -- 175 meters thick. There is a lot of sponge available for soaking up fluids. They're going by this model that there that the Berry group developed at Pipeline and then applied elsewhere in the Cortez trend of low angle faults bringing the fluids in from some deep seated source, up vertical high-angle fault to propagating it upwards. They do not have a discovery hole yet, but they do have evidence that there's clearly stuff going on. The setting is right and the 16-18 hole program, which will play out in the rest of the year allows people to keep their fingers crossed all year waiting for that discovery hole that finds where the conditions are right for the gold to drop out in a very big way and form 15-20 gram per ton gold mineralization, such as is the case at Cortez Hills and at Gold Rush. Perhaps they are relying too much on this low angle fault story because off to the west it doesn't look like there's room for a high angle fault to have fed this stuff, so they may have to change the model. But once they find it, it doesn't matter what the gateway was -- you just start stepping away from it. For now it's a vector party. They need to drill these these strategic holes and see how they relate to each other and then start moving closer to where they can see that the alteration chemistry improve and of course when you start seeing the gold then it's game on. Nevada Exploration Inc will start drilling in March next week. A program that's at least three holes on the South Grass Valley project. This is interesting. It's entertained us for the past few years, however, the last time I talked about it was in late April last year when it was clear that the drill program that they did the shallow RC drill program last year was a bust in terms of delivering the discovery hole we need to anoint South Glass Valley as a major major discovery. What that program did do was demonstrate that this very large, highly altered lower plate window that's completely covered by gravel does fade out when you move westwards and there's a a deep seated structure in the eastern part of Grass Valley which they call the Water Canyon structural corridor that now appears to be the primary deep seated feeder for all the fluids. It's clear this is a Carlin type system. What's not clear was that it was super pregnant with gold. That is the missing piece here. The sponge that they're looking for here in the Carlin system itself, which has 17 million ounces, is the Popovich formation. In the Cortez area it's the Windband 5 formation. But none of these formations are present here. In work that they've done over the past couple years, they've honed in on a formation which they call the CLM which is short for Cambrian-aged Limey Mudstone. It has clearly served as a preferential pathway for fluid travel. Where they have intersected that with both the core drilling in 2019 and the RC drilling in 2020, the gold grade is not present beyond except maybe a modest spike where there are fractures. This whole thing dips downward into what they call the the East Golden Gorge target, which is basically the area that intersects the Water Canyon structural corridor. They know it extends for at least seven kilometers. They've got drill permits in place to drill about three-four kilometer segment of it. They'll be drilling three holes with the current two million dollar budget that they have, for which they raised money late last year to start next week. These holes will be drilled from east of this Water Canyon Fault structure drilled westwards to go through it and then intersect that part where the CLM plunges into what is basically the suspected fluid pathway. This is showtime for this if they drill these three holes into this and do not get evidence of better gold mineralization than they obtained with the drilling of this system farther away from this pathway, then this project will probably be dead. And similar for NuLegacy and its rift anticline. If by the end of the year they have not delivered the high grade gold intersection that says it's game on for a significant Carlin type discovery that goes from target testing to discovery delineation, then all the curtains will likely come down on that also. Show time for the two most important drill plays starting in the next few months in Nevada. Nevada Exploration Inc South Grass Valley and NuLegacy's Rift anticline plays. Both of them tremendous amount of information provided by the company and I would suggest people who are looking at this Golden Lake farce that's playing out right now in the Jewel Ridge area -- they're claiming it is a Carlin type system when in fact what they're intersecting is zinc, lead, and silver enriched mineralization that's related to stuff mined in the past century in an area that's been swiss cheesed with 360 holes by a company that doesn't even put scales on its maps and doesn't even have any information about the project location of past holes or anything. This disgrace of a company has managed to raise $9 million dollars in the past few days after putting out a press release that managed to intersect a three meter interval which they managed to stretch into a 24 meter interval of 9 grams per ton gold. It seems to have pulled in every stupid speculator out there to participate in this thing, including the biggest fish in the pond. 7
from @newton,
@X-flyswatter Well, think I figured out why the man is so sour after checking out his 2 picks. Neither hit gold on any level close to GLM. The first drilled May of last year. No mention of gold in its results at all, just pathfinder elements (arsenic and antimony) in an nr that’s about 5x as long as the post above. The other company’s recent results pale in comparison to GLM’s. And, they were approx. 2500 ft below surface. Thanks, but I’ve found a pretty decent Nevada play here. 9
@X-flyswatter What hasn’t been discussed too much is how shallow this hit was. In fact, it literally started at surface with the initial sample assaying 0.4 g/t gold. At 4.5 m depth, the core assayed 0.9 g/t gold at 4.5 m and steadily increased from there assaying 4.9 g/t at 12 m, and then the bonanza hits from 15m - 19.8m. The significance of this will be felt when drilling. The company will be able to drill a series of short holes (say 50 m- 75 m) testing the zone along strike. There won’t be a lot of “wasted footage” drilling through barren rock to target a zone at depth...a lot of bang for the buck allowing an efficient use of funds. Take care. 2
@COTTRADER John Kaiser: This disgrace of a company has managed to raise $9 million dollars in the past few days after putting out a press release that managed to intersect a three meter interval which they managed to stretch into a 24 meter interval of 9 grams per ton gold. It seems to have pulled in every stupid speculator out there to participate in this thing, including the biggest fish in the pond. 0
@Playa_2012 Lol JK sounds salty. He's calling Eric Sprott stupid? Yeah ok Lol JK missed the run. 1
@X-flyswatter That manic rant was posted here 3x now, originally on Thursday. 1
@OleTradezy Has it been proven false? I know Eric Sprott yadda yadda. He has money to gamble so for him it’s nothing and he could also have made an error in judgment. 0
@X-flyswatter So here’s my personal responses again... To their credit, they presented the results in two different tables (see attached pics). In one table, the results are presented in different intervals, and in the other, every individual sample and grade is given which is rarely done, and probably here because only one hole was reported, so results are very transparent...no guess work needed. 4 m of 0.74 g/t gold. 3m of 1.55 g/t gold. 7.5 m of 1.1 g/t gold 3 m of 5 g/t gold. 3.29 m of 57 g/t gold 2.3 m of 5 g/t gold At any rate, like I said, every sample is provided for anyone to see. No guesswork or hocus pocus....just solid numbers that constitute one significant intersection...the highest grades from any hole reported on the property. 1
@X-flyswatter “One last comment regarding Mr. Kaiser’s manic rant, with all due respect. In a 2015 Northern Miner article, during a period when the entire sector was hurting, Mr. Kaiser stated that what the sector needed for a boost was retail investors to return. Putting any money into any explorecos is speculating...they are companies that have no earnings or revenue, and search for treasures. As speculators, you want to limit the risk of your investments while providing the best chance for significant returns. To do so, you try to find undervalued companies that can provide significant results that will generate sp appreciation. I can only speak for myself, but this investment has done that for me.” Decorum and respect...regardless of your “stature” Have a great weekend. 2
@Baldeeezy I think I'll roll with Eric Sprott on this one boys. 4
@Yixter Ya Eric is a dumb dumb knows nothing about gold just throws wads of cash at nothing!! 4
@Thankyouimsorry @X-flyswatter. I did not meant to bash by reposting the link of the jk interview. So thanks for your reply that put things in perspective. I believe we'll do good with glm. Have a great weekend yourself too. Next week will be good Imo. Especially with the stimulus bill coming. 0
@OleTradezy @X-flyswatter I don’t believe that comment was said in that context. I believe he meant stupid for speculating that this is what they said it was before finding out the truth. 0
@X-flyswatter Interesting, OleTradezy, you state, “Has it been proven false”? Kinda sad state that someone can make accusations with no onus to prove them true. 3
@OleTradezy Oh please. I didn’t make the accusations...I was just asking if they had been debated by anyone other than Kieser. Like I said, I don’t have shares here but am just curious about what is going on. 0
@X-flyswatter @Oops posted a drill collar map above. GLM’s hole is in the Eureka northeast area. I’ll repost that too. People can draw their own conclusions and do further dd if they’re interested. 3
@Baldeeezy I like to see people with skin in the game. Talk is cheap. 4 million isn't. 3
@EurekaTrader That's true but I don't think he'll just toss 4 million at something with some sort of potential in the project 0
@OleTradezy He has before. Gold will do that to a man lol. 0
@EurekaTrader I'm long and will continue to hold - let's revisit the topic in a few weeks and see where we're at. 0
@X-flyswatter And one last time...the area in question are claims that have not seen exploration conducted in almost 40 years (since late 80s). They were tied up in land tenure issues which were resolved and rolled into the Jewel Ridge property. @Thankyouimsorry, I’m not sour at all. I encourage everyone to view information critically, and do their own independent dd in attempt to support their opinions. I’ve been invested in GLM since Dec. 2019 so I’ve done alright by the company. Any new investors who are considering taking a position (in any co) should feel confident in their decisions. Anyway, have a good day. 0
@DRD @OleTradezy You are referring to Sprott but do you think he makes these decisions himself? He has a team. This sector always has risk and hence asymmetric returns for the lucky, patient and well researched. 1
@Playa_2012 You guys are nuts lol. 3.29 M @ 57 g/t Au shallow depth in itself is massive for the property and NEVADA. 1
@OleTradezy @DRD For sure he does, but they have so much money they can afford to gamble on huge amounts of money. He’s still making an absolute fortune in the market. 0
