Does Anyone Have Information.....
......that would suggest the following provided capital for LUFF to get "fired up" again. It's from a Vancouver Sun article dated July 18, 2020. If so this is a substantial chunk of change. Of course it's hard to determine what kind of debt Ascent (LUFF) would have incurred and that needed to be addressed at this time. Just curious if there might be those longer in LUFF than I have been.
Cheers!
"In April, Bzam bought the Canadian assets of troubled local company Ascent Industries — listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange and close to bankruptcy after Health Canada revoked its licences to grow and process in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows after it uncovered “unauthorized activities.”
Bzam paid $41.5 million for the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows growing and processing facilities and a 600,000 square-foot greenhouse in Pitt Meadows. The licences have since been restored in the name of Bzam and the company is applying for a licence for the greenhouse. (Ascent stayed afloat and is now listed as Luff Enterprises, operating licensed cannabis facilities in Oregon and Nevada.)"
