Hi Everyone, An update regarding to Friday court hearing and our next steps: The Friday court hearing to postpone the Plan of Arrangement (POA) was being fought by Groia & Company who is representing a major IAN shareholder. Andro and Sean assisted with providing required information for the lawyer to present their case. The judge was not able to grant the postponement of the Plan of Arrangement. BUT the judge did grant an order for IAN to disclose all information regarding the Plan or Arrangement to Groia & Company. This is HUGE as this is not something that a judge normally grants an order for. These disclosures will provide access to all documents that will contain the who, what, why, when, where regarding the POA and gives the lawyers an inside look on how this happened from the beginning to where we are now in regards to the POA. Unfortunately, the order did not grant the disclosure to be public, which means that Groia & Company would be the only one that will have access to it. Our next step. Right after the decision, we retained Manjit Singh (https://msinghlaw.ca/about-us/) to be our lawyer to represent the common shareholders (us). Manjit, Andro, and Sean have been working all weekend and will continue on daily to plan for the next steps. We will be looking to get a copy of the disclosures as well (same as with all the other lawyers representing different IAN shareholders). This will allow all parties to build their case against IAN and the lenders with this privy information. Since the court ordered the disclosures to Groia & Company, we do not see an issue with being granted access to the documents from the courts. We will provide as much as we can share as we continue our case. What all shareholders can help us with: 1. Vote AGAINST (NO) to the POA. By voting AGAINST (NO), this will tell the judge that the shareholders are not happy with the POA and we believe we are entitled to a better fair deal.
