Who Should EV Battery Consider a Partnership With?

There are a few big Tech Giants Below that have partnered up and are taking runs at dominating the Market. None have the Technology or Specs, let alone Price Point that EV Battery does. I beleive GM, Honda or GE would be great Partnerships to Dominate Market Share. LG or Toyota could also make a play. Lets not forget about the Leader to date _"TESLA"- They could always Swoop in and take all the technology for themselves. All exciting possibilites!

Mercedes also has the potential to rival Tesla's home battery business. The company announced Thursday it will partner with Vivint to sell its home battery in California.

Palo Alto-based ElectrIQ sells a battery for US homes that stores 10 kWh of energy. Its retail price is about $16,000 and includes the price of an inverter.

Panasonic, which makes the cells for Tesla's home battery, also has its own unit that can store 8 kWh of energy. It's currently available in Australia.

Panasonic's battery weighs about 185 pounds, but the cost of a unit is not made readily available.

Cheers

So the reason none of those companies did a JV ect. is, the system performance hasn't been proven as of yet and untill then it's just a pipe dream?

A pipe dream would be wishing you had the technology and products. The reality is THEY DO. No other comapnies or News Releases have disputed that. The facts are whoever does do a JV or attempts to aquire the technology for them selves will see a huge boost to their own Market Cap. Not to mention taking a comanding lead of the Market Share.  Timing is everything in the markets. Opportunities ...more
