Kush.....what are ur thoughts....

....on the December lull that happens every year. I for one liquidate most of my holding by Dec 10 for the lull in the holiday season. What are ur thoughts on that.....

The issue here is that this is a unique scenario where it's an emerging sector in its first (and only) December PRIOR to the year of legalization (don't count last year). It's unpredictable. Personally I have about 25% of my portfolio on sideline waiting to reinvest if drop occurs.

This is good insight, Bellsey.  There could be institutional investors prepared to leverage the lull in order to buy in a bit more cheaply.  If that's the case, there could be worse decisions made than that which decides to stay in the market this December.

With 6 months to legalization I wouldn't count on any significant drop anyway . I as well set a bit of cash aside just in case . The only thing that drives tax loss selling and therefore the drop at Xmas is loosing stocks . Don't see to many looses in MJ sector this year ...If there is a dip ,bulls will buy it up quick , or I will be anyway ...
