Changes to ACMPR requirements

David Hyde just tweeted this out
"Change 1: Vault/storage measures under Security Directive are revoked. Cannabis must now be stored in a "secure area of the facility" with "physical barriers", an "intrusion detection system" & "24/7 video recording". Logs of all entries/exits required "
"Change 2: 24/7 video recording of "areas where cannabis is cultivated, propagated or harvested" is no longer required. Access points to these areas MUST be video recorded 24/7. "

Sounds like a positive for LIB. Sell those surveillance cameras now :)

If LIB is in the 'vault business,' and vaults are no longer required, isn't this a negative for the company?  I realize that there's a lot more to their business model than just the vaults; but am I correct in thinking that this change by Health Canada is unwelcome for LIB?

To me it just sounds like it should be easier for them to get their license now. Less hoops to jump through on vault security.

Brengineer, Absolutely not. Wrote up a long paragraph why but unable to post. They still need the facility to store the cannabis products they will be buying from micro growers in BC. They just don't have to secure it as heavily as previously thought. There are still many requirements that must be abided. please ask if you'd like more clarification.

This is actually good news for all pending applicants. Less restrictiolns, less hoops, less money spent. This is quite good news for North Road, because as we all know, they are THIS close to getting the distribution license, and they were in the security and final review phase. Not to mention, if you read that email, the last PP said they were going to use that capitol for general working, new ...more

Agreed I've been watching trading more closely as of late and some are trying to accumulate by throwing up walls . The shorts taking advantage. Anonymous is on the bid and ask for the small percentage gains now . Looks like it's starting to gain more attention and it's on lower  volume . When the volume picks up or we get North Road shorts will cover and look out above .
