Latitude Uranium Inc > LUR undervalued ?

LUR undervalued ?

The management hopes to be able to demonstrate 100M pounds of uranium at Angilak, but that is still only a hope. The current capitalization of LUR is 44.7M CAD. The recent purchase price of its main asset can be evaluated at +- 43M. I'm not sure LUR is undervalued. Results of radiometric surveys for Angilak should be available during the week, hopefully they will be promising!

It's very undervalued. They are only getting $1 for every pound in the ground. Also, the resource is much more than 44m lbs. The resource estimate is from 2013 and much more drilling has been done since then. It's probably more than 50m lbs. by now. There is known mineralization all around the resource that will easily get this to 100m lbs.

Let's hope that Thursday's webinar will provide us with the information we need to better assess the Angilak and CMB projects. On volumes, we're currently at 53M pounds and it would seem dangerous to base an assessment on 100M, which is still only a hope.  A resource update is not imminent (we still need to drill 6,000m in 2023 and 20,000m in 2024)! On the other hand, at what ...more

Like I said, those are extremely low values of uranium pounds. Valuing them at $5 or $10 a pound is even conservative. This stock should be 3-5x higher based on all the pounds they have. Mettalurgy looks great. Structurally controlled means very small footprint to mine this deposit. Also, the molybdenum grades are world class. If that can be mined too it will be a world class deposit.

I don't think this is conservative, since the CEO himself in a recent video mentioned a $1.5/pound valuation. But of course I hope you're right. I've read that scintillometer results are due in the next few days, so let's hope they confirm good potential for both uranium and molybdenum! The share price is at a low and I'm waiting for the reaction after August 6. Do you think ...more

CEO said that is what it is valued at now. Historically, when a uranium bull comes and when uranium deposits are bought out they are valued at $10-$20 per pound. That would give $LUR a value of 500m to a billion market cap. After August 6 it only makes sense the share price will be pressured. I think LUR will need to put out good scints and assays this summer and winter and also be included in ...more

We are still far from a uranium bull. Most exploration/development projects are not economical at the current price of $50, would LUR projects be? A priori, no cost forecasts for Angilak and CMB yet!

In an early July chart, RedCloud reports for LUR 75.6 mlb U3O8Eq, but the -0.05 lb valuation seems inaccurate to me. I estimate it at 0.38 $us and 0.21 if we take into account the 17M CAD in cash.

Red cloud targets are fun to look at but they are getting paid by all these uranium companies and they are not unbiased. They also seem inaccurate in their pounds. Latitude has around 50m pounds. At todays 35m market cap they are getting .43 per pound in the ground of uranium at a top ten deposit in Canada.  They also have a benefits agreement of sorts with the local First Nations.
