True Leaf : suggest possible movie script that may unfold
True Leaf movie Final Act …. You could not set the scene for a better movie script. For the screwed shareholders, do not dump them yet, as likely you will have a major role in what might unfold. Let’s look at all the characters; We have “da boyz” from the USA who now realize True Leaf has no cash, accumulating debts and no chance of getting their loan shark money back in cash on a timely basis. So they make sure the public are informed True Leaf is in default and shock the other creditors lining up. Time now for the boyz to see what is actually left of True Leaf . There is inventory rotting with little chance of sales sadly due to Corona and little public interest world wide. There are other creditors circling to now see what position they have just in the case the company does go bankrupt. But Wait! There are assets that might add up enough to keep the dream toked and da boz paid and heading back to USA. We have some land, a pretty building all set up for a grow op, and that very very important intangible the Canadian Government Grow OP Licence. It all boils down to what is the imputed value of that licence and who can hold it. Not da boyz, as they are American. Not the underground growers in the area who have tonnes of cash and might want to get hold of a legal facility for their portfolio. But they have the issue of likely not passing the Criminal Record Check. Camera now turns to the CEO and his savy directors who still hold the cards. CEO has vast quantities of shares tucked away and interestingly none of the insiders have dumped any of their shares. Something is baking …… actually stinks …. Who will maintain control of that Government Dope Licence and get some land and a building. Yup, True Leaf might be kept in existence by an investor who probably will have to cash out the CEO and directors for their shares and then up the bid to the little shareholders to see if they want to sell. Do not dream too high as there are somewhere 110,000,000 shares and the script has not yet revealed the true level of debt on the place. Do not worry about the CEO he will do just fine. The company will be taken over by new persons and then privatized into the legal murky human dope world. Shareholders euphoric they just accepted $0.08 per share, double where it is presently listed on the TSX. Final scene …. CEO and dogs head off on their next adventure. Directors now realize they were riding an impossible dream.
