Why the continued stall?

I believe JGT's reason for SH not taking the zoom call is an outright stall tactic.

I know where SH works when he is not in the Vancouver area.Yes Baffin Island is remote...but it's not like you can't get a call out to alert or change a time or date. Surely his location has satellite phones for emergency needs.

 His schedule for work is such that he has a bank of time in Vancouver every three weeks or so, that could be used to take this call if he really wanted to be deposed. BJ and therefore JGT must know this. Why have they not managed to arrange the deposition call for SH when he is in the Vancouver area?

IMO it's because he just doesn't want to be deposed, and they will continue to stall until they can find Thornton to be deposed.

He works on Baffin Island in the winter?  Impressive. What I find suspect is that JGT was not present per the judicial receiver.  Why was he not there unless he knew that SH was not going to attend?

No doubt he knew SH was not going to appear, he made a fool of himself last tine he tried to fit JLs' timing into JL's Narative. The old rope a dope kick the can. IMO

Agreed. The only thing that the BJ/JRL/JGT coalition accomplishes by this is another flush down the toilet of any hint of their credibility. Not that they had any in the first place. Surely the Chilean judiciary will view this in a negative way, particularly given the history of the plaintiffs.  Good luck getting Thornton to depose, and even if they do, it'll probably backfire on them
