Re: Exhortos
Request for Examination from the Embassy of Chile
We have been requested by the 7th Court of Chile of Santiago, to ask you to attend and answer certain questions relating to a court proceeding that is taking place in the Chilean Court. The enclosed documents explain the nature of the proceeding in which your evidence is sought and the questions that the court wishes you to answer.
The Supreme Court of British Columbia is required by international treaty to honour the request made by the foreign court. The procedure requires that you appear before a master or registrar to answer the questions set out in the material. Your evidence will be recorded and a transcript made available to the Civil Court of Santiago, Chile.
The request for your attendance for this purpose is voluntary.
Please telephone Supreme Court Scheduling to arrange a date for the taking of evidence. If you have any questions about this procedure, please contact the court registry.

Based on what you have just reported MT, would you expect the same result for the exhorto for Mr Thornton's testimony? Why would JGT even waste his time for what is voluntary testimony from these people? Oh wait....that is probably the whole idea...take a lot more time in hopes of raising more cash from poor suckers!

Aurwar, of course, the other exhortos will have the same non-result. There will be no in Court demand for titles, nor any grilling by Mr. Galati. I must remark on the silence of JL on this subject. He had to have known, much earlier than I, for at least several months, that there was no testimony given. Yet, he said nothing.
