Some are vested immediately. I spoke with the company.

Vested yes, as in they are now part of the total available stock. But once vested, owner of said stock has a hold for 4 months before they can sell.

I would assume that all employees and consultants that are given the options will be purchasing their shares allotted to them for 39.5 cents tomorrow. 4 months from now they will be able to sell them if they choose to do so. Hopefully for them, they are still considerably higher than 39.5 cents.

To be clear it is the options that are vested today. The soonest any of the shares represented by the options can possibly be available to trade is 4 months from the date the options are vested. As options are exercised shares are issued from treasury, in other words, are available from the company.

The options are vested immediately but may or may not be exercised immediately. If they are exercised immediately there is a 4 month hold period before any of them may be sold. Also the recipient of the options does not sell the options, he sells the shares the options purchase.

That was worded a lot better. Thank you for the clarification.
