2 years on the Nextleaf bus...

we're still stuck just outside the bus station with a flat tire.

I do wish they were inking deals every other week. This is a bit painful. Since they can provide lowest cost per molecule, I wish they had a sales team. I guess Kronos may be helpful for IP licensing, I wonder about extraction deals.

$250 million in cannabis sales every month. Why is it so hard to get more of that pie? Are the other extractors still pumping out oil at a massive loss? Someone is providing the market with all that product.

My personal opinion is that NL's 2 strategies are tied together. The long term play of IP depends on the short term play of oil sales. It is hard to sell the IP as game changing technology if they haven't made a dent in the game (ie: oil sales). If NL truly has the ability to beat the market on price - perhaps they should go ahead and do so. They can grab the market share of oil sales ...more

I guess that's the disconnect I'm seeing too. If they have the ability to produce and sell the cheapest high-quality oil, then why isn't this messaging getting out there? They say they can produce the cheapest molecules, but this is never mentioned in videos etc in terms of them Selling it for less than competitors. It's saying the System is the most efficient and cost effective ...more

I guess to be fair 2020 was the first full year of cannabis 2.0 and there's supposedly still excess inventory to work through. Also, legal sales still less than 50% of total market. I would hope govts do more to shift that balance. Ending this pandemic would help. Don't be an anti-masker. Don't be stupid.

I'm actually happy that finally people are seeing what NL worth really is. We are facing a company whose sole thought was IP, would be worth tons. I've said in the past and I'm saying it again they need to produce a product to be able to generate revenue until they do that we're going to be in the poor house. At this point in time finally investors see NL for what they really are ...more

I think most of us are in agreement here.  "Nextleaf needs another more experienced person on their sale's team, some better marketing stategy to move forward.  I know IR reads our posts so management, please start to think outside of the box.  The only way an IP portfolio can have it's maximum value is to first show that it works, and I think the only way, like most of ...more

@hopefull, agreed!   A pivot is needed while the industry matures and the oil glut works itself out. Relying solely on the wholesale market during these times is a tough stance. Nextleaf should produce their own vape catridge, Though I do believe a sales license is needed to do so. They have distillate in their vaults along with the ability to fill cartridges on site. Undercutting the ...more

I believe we are at a place that any more types of interviews or need release that is not a revenue producing statement will seriously undermine the credibility of NextLeaf. Paul has saturated the techno babble of what they do so no need for that kind of PR. Simply put don't announce anything unless it's a named contract that can be verified. I believe we are seeing that possibility of our ...more

Also, the Cannabis industry has universally adopted the practice of not listing dollar amounts attached to new deals. Then, companies wonder why their signed deals and news releases don't generate interest. This industry is suffering from credibility and performance issues - and this practice doesn't help. NL has released a few revenue contracts the last few months, but as an investor I ...more

it will all be clear. Cannabis had it's bull market in 2017-2019 in Canada. Canntrust was the straw that broke the camels back.
