Expansion into other provinces?

Wondering when we'll see expansion into other provinces. Good to start in their BC backyard and now to be expanding into Saskatchewan. Great and timely progress already with the 2 provinces and looking forward to expansion into others for sure.

I read in a comments section Tom.U from Nextleaf labs mentioning Ontario doing a reshuffle of products, that Glacial Gold wouldn't make it in Ontario until sometime next year. Hopefully Alberta is around the corner!

Aiming for other provinces is nice, but for now they can't seem to be able to keep items on BC shelves. No need to overextend when we are making a killing in BC, the most sophisticate market in the country. Making BC our stronghold is the plan. Even the new items Emma alluded to in her interview are superfluous at this juncture, these would simpy steal some thunder from our own successful ...more

What are the capacity challenges Nextleaf faces? I believe initial orders begin small to see if a new sku moves, subsequent orders there after would be larger. I don't think it's a factor of Nextleafs lack of supply, but I could be wrong. I agree, getting a solid footing in their backyard is a great strategy and incremental growth is a path to success.

I said capacity challenges, not capacity issues. The future is all open for Nextleaf, go for it! That Paul is saying Ontario will have to wait for next year illustrates the capacity challenge. At this point they could consider night shifts, even doubling the refinery capacity in the future; they might face packaging limitations or what else. Just normal challenges behind the scene of a success ...more

I don't believe The comment of Nextleaf entering Ontario had anything to do with Nextleaf meeting the demands, it seemed more to do with getting new skus in Ontario at this time. Also it was Tom, not Paul who made this comment.  I agree, with distributing consumer package goods challenges arise such as logistics packaging and product. I do not believe they're challenges of ...more

totally agree. What we need to know is how much is in the initial order that was sold out in hours. So it's great but if we are talking about say 3 to 5 cases. We have a long way to go. I have tried to get some answers to with a dollar amount sold or qty sold. PAUL IS THIS REALLY SUCH A BIG SECRET. COME GUYS GET YOU SH### TOGETHER.

Volume and profit numbers would be good to have, but we will get them in the next financial reports. I am not worried. Paul said in the interview he wants Nextleaf to be among the 5 top producers in BC in volume and the last QRs stated they want to have consistent month after month profits coming in and be profitable by year end. Note that these last comments were even made before Glacial Gold ...more

Hah I like that we're discussing production capacity issues! That's a better kind of problem.

So true haha XD

I'll follow up on a few comments made here. 1. Capacity is not an issue. Through our partners we have full access to plant material, in March          we were already distilling through a night shift. 2. As far as Ontario goes there will be no new products launched (or requested) until the spring of       2022 as they revamp their acquisition ...more
