Short term pain, mid term gain

Look, it sucks that we're down today - it does, but companies need money to expand. We have sales now and will be across Canada in 2022. Unfortunately I am out of cash for the moment, but if you aren't and if you believe in this company, this is your chance to get in for under 1/2 of the initial private placement years ago. Paul and the company wouldn't have invested so heavily in OILS if they didn't strongly believe in it.

I belive this is the end of the road for Nextleaf they need to raise money it only means tech is not sustainable or profitable to maintain current production
Comment by AuroraAurora on Dec 07, 2021 10:07am
Soupy, soupy, soupy, do you think it's free to expand sales across multiple provinces? That seems to be what your comment insinuates, which of course is untrue. Inclined to think you and Stealth or another basher are one in the same. Hopefully you can contribute to this board with meaningful observations based in reality.

I'm not we have some silent posters here that understand wen your selling carrot juice and you have to buy your carrots and continuously raising money to operate it only means your business plan is a diaper and you need to move on to another business

lol......but sales just begun so how do you know they won't be self sufficient after this raise....let me guess you can tell the future right lol lol lol

How can you be sure they will tho if they miss this will crumble to 0.10 im not sure I want to be apart of that since going public this compnay shot down from 0.65 to 0.16 now 0.20 what I'm saying is this is not 3 years ago if they can't convince investors after getting issued 100 patents that this company is worth more then 0.20 at the moment is a really bad scene for Nextleaf and who ...more

I agree with you. The next time Paul goes on the screen to talk of his excitement I am going ot throw up. Raising money for operations is understandable but why clobber the price down to such pathetic numbers and on top of that a sweetheart deal of warrants at 27c for the next 2 years??? Paul if you can read this, yourshareholders have suffered for too long. No more excitement pls, just deliver on ...more

Many small co.s do an equity issue with 1/2 warrant so giving up a whole warrant means OILS is desperate for cash?
Comment by shneps on Dec 07, 2021 1:10pm
Did they reach out to any investor who had expressed interest in participating in a private placement. No. I have a close friend who recently sold his gold fund to Sprott and received $250M. He has been looking for investment vehicles to invest that money in and was very interested in Nextleaf, through the information I was providing. Just waiting on my direction from management. After today's ...more

Another BS argument of underwriters is that the financing must be offered at a discount to the market price because of dilution.   Might be true for co.s that need the cash to keep the lights on but  I have seen cash flow positive co.s who explicating state that the proceeds will be used for accretive purposes and the frigging underwriters still price issue at a discount.
Comment by BlueShips on Dec 07, 2021 1:45pm
The underwriters don't have a duty to act as a fiduciary. if anything, they have a duty to their own shareholders to generate as much wealth as possible. This means pricing deals at below-market prices so they're easier to sell and to create a strong investor base who continues to buy the deals they underwrite. This is a very shady deal and leads me to believe there is a conflict of ...more

What I'm pissed about is the fact a week ago I reiterated to Jason my interest in an investment. And he lied to me. If that doesn't shake your confidence in management I don't know what will. Currently over 2M shares have been dumped to show how stupid this was. Sure it's a buying opportunity but at what cost. They gave RC $400,000+ (not including warrants and over potential buying ...more

I know you are upset (just like me) that the company thinks they are only worth 20 cents even though they are the patent king.......but to say it's all over when sales (and they look very good at that) has just begun.....frustration is one thing but to say it's over is an obvious bash for accumulation purposes. With no products sitting on the shelves I'm selling everything today but ...more

what have i said that is bashing? makes no sense. You guys are just very sour. Maybe next time take your frustrations out on Nextleaf the company.  Everyone had high expectations, then disappointment. Go find your scapegoats elsewhere or speak to a law firm and present them all the videos, press releases etcc and let them make you feel better.

StupidSpoons73 - This has nothing to do the company, patents or sales capabilities in the future. Stop trying to push BS. I'm an angry shareholder because I was thrown temporarily under the bus by a totally stupid raise. There was absolutely no need for this to have happened. It was so  poorly executed that anybody with half a brain is going to buy today at 20c. Why do I care about a 27c ...more
