Nextleaf Share Price
It should not be a surprise that Nextleaf share price is not moving ahead or trading heavily today.
It went from 4 to 7 cents, up and down, for the last couple of weeks. We all know the share price was unduly crushed by the debenture holder who spent the last months selling millions and millions of shares at 4 cents at a lost. And we therefore all know the "normal" share price should rather be somewhere in the ten or twenty cents. Especially with all the good news coming from Nextleaf these days.
Paul was yesterday pleased to report that the milions of new shares had been bought by current investors. Obviously. But these are not deep pockets and are already full of shares. To take the stock price to its "normal" level, either new deep-pocket investors must come in or Nextleaf must buy back some of its own shares.
This needs to take place. The company can't grow without this being reflected in its total value. You don't fend off takeover bids this way, you don't borrow millions at a cheap rate this way. Finding a solution to this acute problem is urgent and needs to be part of Nextleaf growth strategy.
