share price drop?

Anybody have any idea why such a large drop in share price.

It does not seem to have anything to do with Nextleaf. We should know for sure when the CEO soon talks to the media in relation with today's release of positive Q results. Otherwise, we will probably never know. I saw only 2 or 3 massive sellers + a few weak hands. Maybe they decided to take their profits or needed the money to cover losses elsewhere or face some March 1st charges. Maybe we ...more

Management issued millions of shares to pay for debt when the share price was 4,5 cents. For everyone who bought those shares last year this is a huge win and why would they not sell and take the profit. I think share price should continue moving up on the merits of the company, but selling on news is real when people have cheap shares

Increase in operating expenses could account for part of it $349,475 over year before or they went shopping for a Rolls and a Rolex, party time, lets get this party started, wa hoo, over 4 million in revenue this quarter up, up, up, up and up. So what's not to like? GL

Unfortunately yesterday is what can happen when people put in large stop loss orders. The brokerage algos note it, calculate how much it would cost to drop down to that level and how many cheap shares they can pick up. Personally it is why I don't use stop loss orders. Obviously TD saw it and took advantage. Other lemmings followed. The stop loss order may have been at 12c or 15c but the stop ...more

To take some profits is one thing, to sell close to 3M shares within two hours is another. At best it is dumb, when the stock keeps rising steadily with a volume of close to half a million a day. Why rush to sell at 11 cents when you can at 18 cents over a few days? At some point we saw Scotia sell a few hundred thousand shares at about 15 cents over a couple of days - to be expected.
