Well I was incredibly off on my estimation.....here is post.    Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - April 28, 2021) - Quinsam Capital Corporation (CSE: QCA) ("Quinsam" or the "Company") wishes to announce its Q4/2020 results, with net income of $1.8 million ($0.02 per share basic, $0.02 fully diluted) versus a net loss of $5.9 million ($0.06 per share basic ...more

good but not great, but the biggest increase should come from Q1 results, and in regards to share price I think the Agriforce IPO will finally drive it forward, if it ever happens

This release was all about direction, an update on holdings/assets andnew investments. Nav was never likely to increase significantly Q4 over Q3. That would have meant realized gains from more of their cannabis holdings, which would have meant they sold too early for the run in Jan/Feb. Unfortunately for my theory/hope that Quinsam hit a walk off grand slam with BIGG (I'll brag about my .08 ...more

Good summary Cam I am slightly more dissapointed in the Q4 performance than you - especially when you compare it to the general Cannabis market.(up 40-50% Sept 30 to Dec 31).  I get that QCA is invested in smaller plays and several private ones (so far) and that is the primary reason for the relative underporformance to the  Cannabis and even the general markets.  In my mind Roger ...more

I'm not estatic over the results. Roger needs to start increasing shareholder value. plain and simple. Even if that means giving more colour on the operations and investment side of things. Sadly the website under construction wasn't a new website. But that would be a great place to start. it looks very cheap and very 90's. Harder to attract new money with boring these days. glta

Money talks. If we keep plugging along at even half these earnings then we will be doing okay.  Earnings of only $0.01 a quarter represent a gain of $0.04 annually which is over 10% on a stock like this.  Roger likes to undervalue his portfolio so he can keep buying up shares anyway

As an investor that is trying to produce capital gains, I'm not really interested in "plugging along" or "doing OK" "Roger likes to undervalue his portfolio so he can keep buying up shares".  Ok I agree with that, but it doesn't hlep his shareholders produce capital gains (i.e.maximize shareholder value). Oh and you forgot that, in undervaluing the SP ...more

I'm not feeling it. The large number of sunk or at par assets of small companies concerns me. I can't see tying up this money indefinately when a large percentage of QCA's money is sprinkled across so many small investments. Even ten baggers will not grow the NAV if they only represent 1/2% of the bankroll.  I would ditch the tiny dividend and pare down the investments to those ...more
