Luckily there is a cushion, in that the underlying portfolio could fall in value by 50% and the QCA stock would still be fairly valued !

No such protection for BLR shareholders, who's stock trades at well in excess of the FMV of the portfolio.  But maybe their value reflects promotion and the picking of some recent winners?
