Nowadays hard hats are pretty much mandatory but there are exceptions if the work site does not have any suspended loads that could potentially injure a workers head. Doesn't Black Tusk have a a temporary regional office in Val d'or? This should keep travel expenses low. LOL

Trippleline The answer is no!  Exploration sites have moving equipment so hard hat.  Note in the clip the driller is in a protective cab still has to wear his hard hat.  Every person at a minesite has to wear a hard hat that complies with CSA Z94.  Exceptions are lunchroom some cabs depending on province or in an office.  I have been to work sites and told put you fkin

When I was a teen in a sawmill working my way through university, no one wore a hardhat unless workers compensation was there. Or the IWA union guys who would park their Ferraris up the hill and walk down in their mac jackets.

Ha if travel is the biggest complaint, we are in good shape. I wouldn't get on a covid puke plane right now, but our management does to make us money. That said, I found their financials are confusing - stuff like travel and ir looking expenses actually exploration. I was only joking about the TUSK travel expenses. Compared to other companies, it's not too bad but there's always room for improvement.
